Kabuto, made of 32 black lacquered iron plates
Shikoro of 5 plates in kiritsuke kozane
Japan
Second half of the Edo period

The maedate is made of two parts, one of gilded brass, the other, in shakudo, representing the Mon of the Arima clan from the region of Maruoka.
The Menpo, made of black lacquered iron with a Yak fur mustache,
the yodarekake being composed of four plates in kiritsuke kozane in accordance with the shikoro.
